Raw Material Coordinator

What you will contribute

In this position, you will have a strategic role in monitoring the market and analyzing reports, directly contributing to more competitive and sustainable purchasing decisions. You will also lead and develop the purchasing team, promoting efficiency, collaboration, and alignment with best practices to ensure favorable commercial terms, competitive deadlines, and consistent results.

What we will achieve together

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and meet production needs.
  • Select, negotiate with, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, competitive prices, and reliability. Monitor market trends and prices to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with purchasing, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Prepare detailed reports and data on purchasing status, supplier performance, and inventory.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to suppliers, deliveries, and raw material quality.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, such as price fluctuations, supply disruptions, and regulatory issues, by implementing best practices and technologies to improve the efficiency of the purchasing process and maintain the company’s competitiveness.
  • Implement KPIs and monitor the department’s results, introducing innovations and identifying process improvements to achieve the best outcomes for the company.

Required Experience
  • Experience in leading teams in the purchasing area

Education, Certifications, and Languages
  • Bachelor’s degree completed: Business Administration, International Trade, Economics, or related fields
  • Advanced English

Behavioral and Technical Skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences
  • Organization, autonomy, sense of priority, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple simultaneous demands
  • Problem-solving, collaborative, proactive profile, and focused on continuous improvement
  • Advanced Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Power BI will be considered a plus
