What you will contribute
The Junior Engineer Production Process will work as part of a dynamic production team in the undertaking of various internal projects to maximize production, decrease wastage and improve innovation for effective cost saving.

The successful candidate will be required to:
- Contribute to operational performance improvement projects by identifying opportunities, proposing practical solutions, and sharing ideas that support manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability goals.
- Support production teams by participating in project-based initiatives that enhance planning, prioritisation, and coordination of activities to achieve effective and cost-efficient operations.
- Assist in establishing and refining production control processes by gathering and analyzing data on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines to provide insights and recommendations for improved performance.

Qualification
Qualification
- Degree in Chemical/ Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- MS Excel (intermediate) and MS Office.
- Strong Analytical Skills, Problem Solver.
- Able to Collect, analyze, interpret, and drive decision making on data.
- Able to drive continuous improvement (process and equipment efficiency, cost savings).
- Able to visualize clearly what the ideal production system should be. Clearly understand operating principles and establish correct operating standards and be able to communicate these outcomes to the plant supervisors and their teams.
- Able to liaise directly with other departments such as procurement, engineering, quality, and sales.
- Able to act as a technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in root cause analysis and the establishment of counter measures.
- Research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
- Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.
- Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Sustainability projects e.g. effluent treatment, water recycling, use of solar as a source of energy.

- Own vehicle.
- Will be required from time to time to work outside office hours and on weekends.
- Must be “hands on”, will need to spend as much time as possible within the plant.
