At GELITA, we offer exciting career opportunities in the specialized field of Procurement & Supply Chain Management. In our unique and fascinating industry, our supply chain goes beyond the procurement of services, energy and other common production and non-production materials. It includes the strategic role of animal raw material sourcing, ensuring a reliable and sustainable supply for our more than 20 manufacturing plants worldwide.

Our central Supply and Operations Planning (CSOP) department plays a pivotal role in linking our commercial activities, sales, and production planning. There are global roles responsible for planning and coordinating the worldwide production across our facilities, calculating demand gaps and surpluses in each sales unit, and driving the necessary supply between GELITA sites. The global function is mirrored in each country or region, with dedicated colleagues integrated into and strongly interconnected with the local organization, ensuring seamless operations in each geography.

Regular international meetings, partly physical and partly facilitated through platforms like Teams, allow us to exchange insights on adjusting to changing customer requirements and discuss challenges and opportunities within our supply chain. Together, we drive the seamless flow of high-quality material and products - for our customers worldwide!

With our extensive global supply network, strong partnerships, and over 20 international production sites, we have the flexibility to adapt our production portfolio swiftly in response to market or regional demand fluctuations. GELITA is committed to reducing CO2 emissions and freight costs by optimizing our logistics processes, thereby minimizing environmental impact. Following the principles of the circular economy we create products with added value from a natural source.
