Overview of Our Development Programs and Initiatives
In 2023, we have expanded our global and virtual offerings to further enhance the development of our workforce.
Young Professionals Program
The Young Professionals Program at GELITA is dedicated to nurturing the future generation of production specialists and managers. With a focus on knowledge transfer and global collaboration, our experts share their expertise through an online academy, fostering continuous learning and experience sharing.
GROW Learning Platform
At GELITA, our GROW platform is designed to foster lifelong learning and promote collective growth within our company. This comprehensive learning management system consolidates all training opportunities, whether digital or in-person, in one centralized location, streamlining associated processes.
Global Accelerated
Development Program
(GADP)
Our highly successful global development program equips experts and managers with the skills and knowledge necessary for their next career advancement and the corresponding responsibilities. This cross-country and cross-functional program saw its first group successfully complete their GADP journey in 2023, spanning approximately ten months. A new cohort has embarked on their development journey, extending into the beginning of 2024.
Mentoring
Since its implementation in 2021, GELITA has experienced highly positive outcomes with this personnel development tool. We have continued to train additional internal mentors in the previous years, fostering successful mentor-mentee relationships for our talented employees.
Board Touchpoints
We actively encourage regular interaction between our talented individuals and the Management Board. This promotes a valuable dialogue, allowing for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Such interactions create a mutually beneficial environment, benefiting both the talented individuals and our board members in a win-win situation.
Expansion of Training Structures
In response to demographic changes at its German sites, GELITA is taking proactive measures to restructure its apprenticeship program and enhance available resources. Through investments in employer branding, the company aims to attract and increase the number of apprentices and dual study program students, ensuring a robust talent pipeline for the future.
Group Policy Remote Work
We are embracing innovative concepts that extend beyond traditional forms of work and organizational models. Our Group policy fully supports location-flexible working, making it an integral component of our future-oriented work models worldwide.
