This individual will play a crucial role in analyzing logistics data, identifying trends and bottlenecks, and proposing actionable insights to optimize our supply chain and logistics operations. While experience in logistics processes is preferred, it is not mandatory; in-depth knowledge of Power BI is recommended. We value strong analytical skills and a drive to improve processes through data-driven decisions.

What we will achieve together

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze logistics-related data from various sources (e.g., shipment times, inventory levels, warehouse efficiency, transport routes, delivery performance).
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, cost per shipment, inventory turnover).
    • Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in logistics processes through data analysis.
  • Process Improvement Proposals:
    • Use data insights to propose actionable recommendations for optimizing logistics workflows, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to develop solutions to address inefficiencies or bottlenecks identified through data analysis.
    • Assist in defining scope and metrics for improvement initiatives within the logistics domain.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (logistics, supply chain, finance, IT) to understand data needs and ensure alignment on data-driven decisions.
    • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management, in a clear and concise manner.
    • Support the implementation of process changes based on data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor the impact of implemented process improvements and refine strategies based on results.
    • Stay up-to-date with trends in data analytics and logistics technology, and proactively suggest ways to leverage new tools and methods to improve operations.
    • Improvement of the (financial) logistic data and the way they come available (standardization) in order to create more transparency and ease the reporting

What makes you stand out

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting.
    • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus, but not mandatory.
    • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI (programming & use)
    • Experience with SAP-S4HANA is helpful
    • Experience of using AI tools (Chat GPT-5, MS Co-Pilot) for analysis
    • Basic understanding of logistics operations, such as transportation management, warehousing, or inventory control, is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations.
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Business Fluent in German as well as English
  • Preferred (but not required):
    • Knowledge of advanced analytics or optimization techniques (e.g., route optimization, inventory forecasting).
  • Experience with logistics-specific software or systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
