GELITA looks back on a long tradition: Founded in 1875, our roots are in Germany, and we are still headquartered there: In Eberbach on the Neckar, just 30 km from Heidelberg. Over the past 150 years, we have grown into a global manufacturing company with more than 20 production sites on all continents.
More than 2.900 people from multiple cultures work together in local and global teams - primarily in Manufacturing, but also in areas such as Engineering. As a forerunner for innovation in our unique industry, with considerable R&D activities, we have expanded our product and services portfolio far beyond its origins in gelatin.
