GELITA’s 1.000-square-meter Biotech Hub was completed in 2022 at the Höchst Industrial Park in just one year. In this ultra-modern biotech laboratory, we develop and enhance microorganisms that can be used to produce organic compounds such as proteins. This represents an important step for the company into additional markets in the future. The focus here is on non-animal collagen proteins for applications in cosmetics, nutritional supplements, pharmaceutical and medical products.
