As a Machine and Plant Operator Could Look Like This:

5:40 am:

  • Shift handover with the night shift
  • Provide overview at the plant and the running products
  • Perform initial quality checks (product concentration, ph values, viscosity)
  • Keeping protocols and documentation for product traceability

7:30 am:

  • Daily store floor meeting with all employees on shift: discussion of the day's program, discussion of incidents in the pre-shift

7:50 am:

  • Continuation of production activities

1:40 pm:

  • Cleaning and tidying up the workplace
  • Shift handover

2:00 pm:

  • End of shift

Breaks: In fully continuous shift operation, there are no fixed break times. Instead, there are paid short breaks.
