Gelatine from GELITA can well bring gloss to cutlery, pots and pans in the kitchen – and for this reason it is used in the electro-plating industry. Here, gelatine is used as an additive in the electro-plating baths where it acts as a protective colloid and improves the gloss and uniformity of the metallic coatings. The special gelatine products are particularly effective with copper alloys.
