This year, from October 2-4, GELITA presented its wide range of new products
and services at the CPhI (Chemical and Pharmaceutical Ingredients), the world‘s
largest pharmaceutical trade fair, in Milan, Italy. This was the first appearance
of the fair in Milan.
The GELITA team at t he exhibition booth comprised experts from all the relevant
areas of t he company: Sales, R&D, Technical Service and Communications/Marketing.
In this way

visitors were optimally cared for. The discussions at the booth were
supplemented by lectures at the “Speakers‘ Corner”.
The main interest shown by visitors was the new collagen peptide FORTIGEL® for
food additives and functional foods for joint health. Another common topic was
special gelatines for capsules capable of reducing interaction between the
capsule gelatine and their fillings. Some 1500 companies presented their new
developments and services at the exhibition located at the Congress Center
Fiera Milano Nuova.
